A:Answer Hey there, and thanks for letting us know about this situation. We hate to hear you’ve having an issue with the door not closing; we know how frustrating that must be. Have you checked whether there are any obstructions around or near the door that might be preventing it from closing all the way? Any racks or other objects sticking out could possibly prevent it from closing completely. If there are no obvious obstructions, we do have instructions for both removing and replacing the oven door on page 15 of the Use and Care manual; going through that process may help resolve and/or make clear where the issue is. (The manual can be viewed on our GE website when you look up the model number, go to the product page, and click the 'Owner Support' option under the appliance picture.) If you try that process, please use caution around the gasket. It’s essential for a good seal/oven safety, and care should be taken not to rub, damage or move it.
