Q: QuestionWe need to replace our current 30 inch JVB37 unit. Is this system compatible to switch out?

• A:Answer Hi there - thank you for connecting with us. We're glad to help you find a compatible replacement! One of the most important pieces to consider when finding a replacement for a telescopic downdraft system is the cutout measurements. When comparing this model (UVD6301SPSS) to your previous model (JVB37H or JVB37A), it looks as though the cutout width and the height below the countertop are the same. As long as the installation requirements for the new model are met, then it will be a nice replacement of your current system. We hope this is insightful! Q: QuestionDoes GE make a downdraft that will work with slide in?

While downdraft vents are able to be installed with most of our electric and gas cooktops, they cannot be installed with our ranges at this time. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and will certainly send notice of your interest in a downdraft option that works with a slide-in range to our team. Q: QuestionIs this downdraft compatible with the 30 inch GE Profile induction cooktop top with the number PHP9030SJSS? How many inches are required between the top of the cooktop and the cabinet wall to accommodate the downdraft?
