I would not call them child safe. They're standard knobs. The door handle might deter only the youngest of walkers, if at all. Leaners would have the same old problem also.

There is there is no way on this range to lock the burner knobs to prevent them from being pushed in and turned. You may wish to check with specialty stores to see if there are knob covers or a shield to prevent the knobs from inadvertently being pushed in and turned. I hope this helps!
