Did you remove the wheels from inside the water tank? Also, you have to let the machine sit upright for one hour before its first use

To troubleshoot, make sure the bucket is placed and securely seated for the dehumidifier to operate. Also, check the drain hose connection, and make sure it is not kinked in any way.
