QuestionAre the cooking knobs metal or plastic, and are they embossed or just stickers?

QuestionFor this piece, the height shows as 4.75 inches. Is this from the top of the counter or from the top of the cooktop as in from the top of the cooktop grate.

QuestionI have brushed nickel kitchen hardware and sink faucet. Is this cooktop ultra glossy or shiny like a chrome look? I want it to coordinate with the brushed nickel not look like a glossy chrome there was not a model to see at the store

- Answer This cooktop leaves the factory set for use with natural gas. If you want to convert to propane gas, the conversion must be performed by a qualified propane gas installer. The conversion orifices and instructions can be found attached to the regulator. Lauren@GEAppliances

- Answer Model JGP3036SLSS is not compatible with a griddle. We do have other gas cooktops, such as PGP7030SLSS, that are compatible with an optional griddle.

- Answer It seems to be a baked-on enamel on steel. You'd have to read the specs the company supplies. My last cooktop was a GE Profile and I loved it. This is the modern version of that cooktop.

We've received no indication at this time of the intent to discontinue this model. QuestionHow do I get rid if scratches caused by grates of GE gas drop in range? Bar Keepers Friend does phase it.Scratches are on front top above control panel and on the back. Scratches are very shallow.

- Answer Hi, Thanks for the question! We appreciate you choosing GE Appliances and we'd love to help. To clean the stainless steel surface, use warm sudsy water or a stainless steel cleaner or polish. Always wipe the surface in the direction of the grain. Follow the cleaner instructions for cleaning the stainless steel surface. Cleaners with oxalic acid such as Barkeepers Friend Soft Cleanser will remove surface rust, tarnish and small blemishes. Use only a liquid cleanser free of grit and rub in the direction of the brush lines with a damp, soft cloth. Hope this helps! -Sylvia@GEA
