Q: QuestionOur planned cabinets are only 12" deep. What is the minimum depth that this fan requires for mounting? Do you require hard wiring or can you plug in? Thank you.

• A:Answer Hi - Thanks for considering GE Model JVX5360SJSS! We cannot guarantee the stainless finish will match your LG Model # LFXC22526. Our appliances with fingerprint resistant stainless offers a clear coat that allows the shine of the stainless to show through. Some manufacturers use a matte coating, resulting in a dull finish. • A:Answer Hi Sarah - This hood can be vented vertically through upper cabinets then downward or horizontally through an outside wall then downward. Ductwork is not included. To maximize the ventilation performance of the vent system, minimize the duct run length and number of transitions and elbows. • A:Answer We can confirm that this range hood can be installed as recirculating, which does not require ventilation/ducting. • A:Answer We'd recommend checking with your cabinet company or paint company for the proper type of paint to use. The CFM rating on High is 260 and the recommended distance from the bottom of the hood to the cooking surface is 24" Min (required) to 30" Max. Q: QuestionWhat Wattage bulb does this model need for replacement? This GU 10 style bulb comes in 35 and 50 watts. I followed the "push up and turn to the left" directions but the bulb broke off, leaving the base stuck in the socket, so can't read the wattage.

• A:Answer Hi FISHHEAD - Yes, Model JVX5360SJSS can be used with both electric and gas cooking products. All current GE vent hoods can be installed over gas cooking products with combined surface burner BTU rating of approximately 65,000 BTUs or less. These products are not recommended for use above any range or cooktop that has a combined surface burner BTU rating over 65,000 BTUs. Combined surface burner rating does not include the oven/broiler BTUs. Exception: If the cooking product is over 65,000 BTUs but does not specify that a high performance (high CFM) hood needs to be installed, then you can proceed with the vent of your choice. • A:Answer Hi Javeed - The hood has convertible venting. Select recirculating or external venting. Recirculating requires optional JXCF55 - Charcoal Filter. It comes equipped with 2 grease filters (WB02X27203).
