Q: Questionis this kit universal? I bought a whirlpool WMH78019HZ-1 30IN microwave to replace the 30in GE with the trim kit already installed. If not, do you sell a trim fill kit for the whirlpool?

Q: QuestionI need to replace a 36" GE Profile microwave. What microwave will go with filler kit JX36DSS? I see many that go with JX36BSS, but that isn't available. Also, what extra kit do I need to bump it further out from the wall to match the cabinet depth?

• A:Answer Hello. We appreciate your interest in replacing your microwave with a new model, and your loyalty as a GE consumer! Unfortunately, JX36DSS is no longer available through GE. You can try checking with your dealer to inquire if they have any of filler kit JX36DSS left in stock, but in general that kit is no longer produced. We regret any inconvenience that may cause, but we are manufacturing JX36BSS as a filler kit. That may be temporarily unavailable but has not been discontinued, and we should have JX36BSS available again soon. JX36BSS works with model JVM7195SKSS and that microwave is compatible with bump out kit JX15BUMPBB. That kit may be available with your dealer, but if necessary our Parts Department can be reached at 1-877-959-8688. Other similar models with filler kits (like JVM7195BLTS with filler kit JX36BTS and bump out kit JX15BUMPBB) are available as well, if you need other options. Q: QuestionDoes this filler kit work with JVM3160EFES or PVM9179DKBB? Why is it so hard to find this information? It's VERY HARD (and expensive) to find a suitable replacement/combination for my broken GE Profile Spacemaker® XL 1800 36" Microwave Oven!!!

Q: QuestionI need to replace a 36 over the range Kitchenaid Microwave...parts no longer available. I cannot tell from the pictures if under the microwave the space between the bottom of the microwave and the cabinets...about 3 inches on each side are also covered.

This filler kit will fill the 3" gap on either side of the 30" microwave such that there does not appear to be open space on the sides of the microwave. We hope this helps! The difference between the two filler kits that you've mentioned here is that they are associated with certain models of microwaves. Some models may use the DSS version and others the BSS.
