where do you put detergent null

You just put the detergent in with the clothes. There is a spot for softener in the middle and a spot for bleach. I was hoping for a washer with a detergent dispenser but am still very happy with this washer even though it doesnt have one. It gets our clothes much cleaner than my old washer with less detergent.

The manufacturer suggests that you fill it with water & add the detergent, before adding your clothes. Supposedly this means that it takes the guess work out of deciding the setting for how much water yourself. I find it to be inaccurate & would rather select high, medium, or low myself. I know this wasn't your question, but please rethink getting this washing machine. It never has enough water to properly wash your clothes or rinse the soap out. We had this machine for 3 years (used only 2), & it's broken already. It's been nothing but trouble for us.

In bottom of drum place packets. Or use liquid detergents. Before you put clothes in drum. Softener in center of agitator. Will dispense automatically at proper time. On Model # GTW465 Right top corner of washer bleach only.

You put the detergent in the bottom of the drum before the clothes.

Right in the tub then load the clothes, shut the lid and start...
