How do I know when the oven it at temperature? null

Hi - Gas Ovens can take 15-20 minutes to preheat depending on the set temperature, starting temperature of the oven, room temperature and number of racks in the oven (each additional rack will add approximately 30 seconds to preheat time). The Oven/Cycle light comes on when the burner is on. It will cycle on and off during cooking. This range does not have a preheat light. Thanks for viewing GE! Sue

I just bought this earlier this year and used the propane conversion. I also wondered the same thing because I bake a lot. I ended up buying a thermometer to check temps and the oven seems to reach desired temps in about 5 mins; the burner on the bottom will usually shut off when the desired temp is reached also (double checked with my thermometer).
