Hi JT. Good question! With the exception of electric unitized washer/dryer units, washers are factory equipped with power cords. - Washers should be plugged directly into a properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet. For safety, we don't recommend using an extension cord or adapter plug with this appliance. The power cord for a top load washer is about 5 ft long. We hope that this helps! Stay safe.
