- Answer The machine needs to be emptied of water. There is a drain valve in the back of the unit, centered towards the bottom.

- Answer Yes you are correct. No drain connection needed. If you use the humidifier function then it will have to be drained.

QuestionThe mounting bracket will not hold the air tube without falling out of the panel. Do you have a mounting bracket that actually holds the air duct tube in the panel? Even duct tape does not hold the air tube, What is your solution to this problem?

- Answer Alex, are you referring to the exhaust nozzle? When I was setting my unit up, I pulled the exhaust tube to extend it and the nozzle came off. It was a royal PITA to get it back on. After that, once you put the nozzle into the window bracket, it will slide left or right inside the bracket to lock in place. It's not a real tight lock but should be enough to keep it from falling out. Hopefully that helps

QuestionThis unit claims it has WiFi in the description. And yet in the specs it says it is NOT app compatible. If the unit doesn't work with an app, what use does the WiFi have?

QuestionDoes the fan cut on and off. This would be for a bedroom and while I prefer white noise, I am a light sleeper and if the my fan cuts off do to power failure it wakes me up. A fan cutting in and out on this unit would make it a no-go for me.

- Answer This unit is very loud when it rans and constantly cycles on and off, about every 10 minutes or so. If you're a light sleeper, skip this one.
