We are also sorry to report that it is not possible to determine the product failure rate, lifespan, life expectancy, life cycle of an appliance, or even an approximate age. There are many variables involved, like: frequency of use, type of use, location of appliance (ex. high humidity; near the ocean; etc.), care, and maintenance. If you would like further troubleshooting tips, we would be happy to help. Just send us an email or live chat with us through our Contact Us page. We hope to hear from you soon. -Michael
