QuestionWhat’s the length for the electric plug in cord?

- Answer Hi Francesco - Power cords are not furnished for electric free- standing ranges. Electric ranges are "hard wired" and will need a 3-prong or 4-prong 240v range cord (purchased separately). Per the Installation Guide, use a 4’ power cord to prevent interference with the storage drawer. Power cords 4 1/2' to 6' long may have to be dressed to allow for proper drawer closing. QuestionDoes it have a timer and oven lights?

- Answer It has a timer, but the alarm is close to a whisper. There is one light sufficient to satisfy the need to look without opening the door. You didn't ask, but insulation is poor and it gets quite warm on the outside. If you are looking at a self cleaning version, it is probably better insulated. I would say it is worth the money, and the overheating protection built into the coils is a great idea. Wally

- Answer This range model does not have the self-clean feature. The oven has to be cleaned manually, however, the smooth surface and rounded corners make clean-up quick and easy.

QuestionCan this stove be used for canning? The heat sensors on each burner is concerning. So the sensors keep the burner at desired temp? Or when they get to desired temp, they turn off or cool off?

- Answer You can certainly do your canning on this range! The Sensi-Temp technology is a safety feature that only turns the burner off at very high temperatures.

- Answer The recommend acceptable outlet area is in the shaded boxes in the illustration of the Prepare the Opening section on page 1 of the Installation Instructions. The Installation Instructions can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the Best Buy website.

- Answer It is not possible to determine the life expectancy of an appliance, even an approximate age. There are many variables involved that include frequency of use, type of use, location of appliance (ex. high humidity; near the ocean; etc.), as well as the way you care for or maintain the appliance.

- Answer No, The little button in the center of the coils is a temperature sensor. If the pan gets to hot the coils will cool down untill the stove thinks it safe to heat up again (about 30 seconds to a minute ) Its a safety feature to prevent a fire. If there is no pan on the burner it will stay hot untill you turn it off at switch.
