“How do you clean the griddle. You cannot put cast iron in the dishwasher”

Hi Janet- The non-stick griddle included with the range is aluminum. To clean, wash with dish soap and hot water. If necessary, scrub with a non-abrasive plastic pad. Do not clean the griddle in the self-clean cycle or in the dishwasher. We also offer Optional Cast-Iron Reversible Grill/Griddle WB31X24998 (sold separately). This cast-iron grill/griddle should be seasoned before first use and after cleaning. Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly, then prepare the surface with cooking spray or wipe with a thin layer of vegetable oil. Wipe any excess oil with a dry paper towel. To clean food soils, use a stiff brush and hot water. Follow up by seasoning the griddle/grill. Using soap is not recommended, and do not wash the reversible grill/griddle in the dishwasher.
