• I dont think so seeing its not using that much water to steam dry

• Hello- Thanks so much for checking with us. We are happy to help! A drain pan is not needed for your dryer. On dryers with Steam features, cold water is connected to the dryer and injected into the heated dryer in a fine vapor. The heat from the dryer creates steam from the vapor mist.
