Turn the knob to the rinse and spin cycle. The extra rinse button should light up. Press that button before pressing start and it should turn off the rinse portion of the cycle.

Press Start button on upper right === not of upper left. It will start to do what you thin is all wrong, in that it you will hear the sound of water starting to fill. But do not pull the garments out. After 5 seconds the water will stop. The machine will then go quiet, while it figures out what to do. It will then not add any more water but will start to drain, and ten minutes later it will start to spin. Don't yank out the clothes when you hear the water as I did 5 times before

We are sorry to hear of the difficulty you have had with your bedding coming out too wet and are happy to offer you some guidance in this. If items are too wet, especially when washing a small load containing both heavy and light items, this is may be because the load is out of balance causing the machine to slow the spin speed down. In this case, you will need to redistribute the items and run a Rinse & Spin cycle. - This washer does not have a Spin only cycle and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, selecting a higher Spin speed will remove more water from the items! To change the Spin speed, press the Spin speed pad until you have reached the desired setting. We hope that this helps to clarify! -Eliza@GEA
