The bottom and sides turn different directions - The unit is great except for one downfall, and I will not purchase this product again, 95% of the time the unit will get out of balance, and to correct the problem one must remove all of the wet cloths from the washer and replace them in the tub evenly to get the last spin to work. The unit is 100% waste of money for this reason. I recommend never to purchase this unit, you will regret it. Wish I could return my unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Pel - We're excited to hear of your interest in our GE Washers! Top-load washers with an Infusor will not have a traditional agitator. The Infusor replaces the agitator and has a short, wide base (wash plate) that works alone or with the wash basket to provide different types of wash action. With an Infusor, the clothes stay near the wash plate. The mechanical action of the Infusor moves the clothes through the water and against the sides of the tub and down around the Infusor. This wash system is softer and quieter during agitation and provides more room in the tub. Larger loads mean fewer loads of laundry for you to do! Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
