Q: QuestionI see heat/steam vents are located behind the oven door handle. When baking, how hot does the handle and door frame get? Will I get burned? Does heat come up in your face as you are cooking on the range top with the oven on?

• A:Answer There is no steam coming from the burners or the oven when the oven door is closed. The oven door handle is room temperature.

• A:Answer The overall height is 47-1/4” to the top of the backsplash. The height to the cooktop surface is a minimum of 35-5/8” (with leveling legs fully retracted) and a maximum height of 36-1/2” (with leveling legs fully extended). • A:Answer This model has a 4-pass hidden bake element at the bottom of the oven and a 4-pass broil element at the top. During Conventional Bake, heat comes from the bake and broil elements.

• A:Answer If you pull open the bottom drawer of the range, you should find a white tag on the left hand upright. The tag should give you a model number, serial number, and a color code for the range. The tag also says "FOE SERVICE AND SUPPORT: 800-GE-CARES" GE's Louisville plant should be able to tell you where the range was manufactured.
