Many ranges and wall ovens offer Steam Clean, sometimes called a Light Self Clean, for easily cleaning small spills or light soil using a small amount of water and a low cleaning temperature. The racks can be left in the oven when using the Steam Clean option. The steam will loosen soil on the racks as well as the oven interior. The soil can then be wiped off the oven interior and racks using a cloth dampened with warm, soapy water. The water for Steam Clean is added manually. A water supply is not needed.
