- Answer Hi there, Thanks for your interest in this beautiful 5.3 cu. ft. 30" GE slide-in range! The exterior dimensions are 37-1/4 H x 29-7/8 W x 28-1/4 D and the cooktop on this terrific model is black. We don't have information on Kitchen Aid appliances since they are a competitor, so we suggest contacting them for the cu. ft. capacity on your existing range. All of our coil cooktop ranges are free-standing ranges such as model JB258RMSS. Our drop-in ranges with coil burners are only 27" and are not in stainless steel. QuestionThere appears to be vents in the door behind the oven handle - what are they there for ?? Does the oven vent at the rear of the cook top?? Does the unit sit on adjustable feet to accommodate an uneven floor?? Does this unit come with a power cord??

- Answer Hey there, Thank you so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your questions! The vents located at the back of the cooktop are for when you use the cooktop. The vents at the front of the oven is when you are using the oven. This range does have leveling legs and comes with an anti-tip device. This range does not come with a power cord included. You will need either a 4-wire 40 amp 4' cord or a 3-wire 40 amp 4' cord. Hope this helps! Mike@GEA

- Answer Hi MrsSanky! Thanks for your questions, we'd be happy to help. This model does not have access to Convection Baking, only traditional baking. Based on page 2, section 3 of this model's installation instructions, it states the following about the power cord needed: A range cord rated at 40 amps with 125/250 minimum volt range is required. A 50 amp range cord is not recommended but if used, it should be marked for use with nominal 13/8" diameter connection openings. Care should be taken to center the cable and strain relief within the knockout hole to keep the edge from damaging the cable. We hope this helps! Best wishes. -Michael@GEA

QuestionWhen our range was installed, because the plug isn't flush with the wall, the range sticks out 1" from the wall. Is there a 30"wide by 1" stainless trim we can buy to cover this 1" gap between the back of the range and the wall?

QuestionMy new GE range will not hold an accurate oven temperature. If I want 425 degrees, I have set it to 435, and it takes 25 minutes to preheat. Can this be fixed or do I need a replacement?
