Hi vincelinda- Yes, all of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas; however, they also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range to LP. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. The conversion instructions are located in the wiring diagram (mini-manual) or included with the LP kit attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. Thanks for choosing GE Profile! Enjoy - Sue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the gas connector or the kit for gas is not included. But the Propane Conversion Kit is included.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have natural gas, and could have had it installed at the time of building my home 16 years ago, but preferred electric at that time. I wanted all GE Profile appliances, and selected stainless steele, refrigerator, dishwasher, range, and microwave. When it was time to replace the range, which was an electric glass topped slide in in model, I decided to buy a gas range, because I had never had one, and wanted to try it. Over 16 years, the black glass top had become worn, chipped, and while it worked well, was looking distressed, and replacement of the top was expensive, and the oven temperature was inconsistent. I wanted to keep the integrity of the higher end GE products so I opted for the gas range. I have been thrilled with it! All other appliances have already been replaced at least once except for the dishwasher. Knock on wood! I understand Gas conversion kits are availabe with this range.
