QuestionIf the control panel cannot read your finger; will the whole range need to be replaced or can this be fixed by a tech?

- Answer Replacing the control panel took just a few minutes by the guy who came to do it. It was under warranty so I can't say how much a new one would cost.

QuestionLOL. I meant SELF CLEAN, not self lean. Motto: always proofread before hitting send! I have read that the steam clean, low temp clean does not work, so I do not want that. I would like the standardized self clean, or both types of cleaning cycles.

- Answer It could be self LEANING if the rear levelling leg is not engaged in the anti-tip bracket. However, I would guess you are asking if the ovens are self-cleaning, and they are.

- Answer Since this is a slide in floor model range, it would require that you modify the area that you intend it to go to the dimensions of the stove itself. It has to be a completely open area to use the ovens.

QuestionWhat do you use to clean the control panel? I do not see any directions in my manual on what I can use on the control panel. I wipe it down with a cloth but I can still see smudges and spots from things that splattered on it. Afraid to use anything.

- Answer Yes. I had a fit when my hot fudge cake boiled over, but I wiped up what I could and put a damp dishcloth over the rest. When I got ready for bed I checked to see if it helped, and the whole mess came out without the cleaning cycle!!! I would recommend trying this before trying the high-heat cycle, although I haven't tried it yet.
