I'm guessing you've long ago solved it but mine didn't fit either. My dryer came with a 3/8 threaded pipe so I used a 3/8 t0 3/8 pipe elbow and then a 3/8 pipe to flare adaptor fitting and then the flexible hose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Normally all the dryers come with different gas outlets and don’t match with the one at you place If this the case take the gas hose and go to the local hardware store and buy the right fittings
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some occasions the fittings are 1/2 and are different configurations on them but they have gas hose the go from 3/8 to 1/2 and also fittings that do the same
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - Thanks for choosing GE! The gas line connection on the back the dryers is a 3/8" NPT male thread O.D. Supply line is to be 1/2” rigid pipe and equipped with an accessible shutoff within 6 feet of, and in the same room with, the dryer. We suggest to view page 6 of the Installation Instructions at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-16775-3.pdf - We recommend contacting a professional gas installer or your local gas company. Keep in touch! Sue
