QuestionHow come there's a customer review with photos showing an LG washer & dryer set, when this is a GE washer & dryer? I was wanting a matching in-appearance set, as this one doesn't match since there's a chrome color ring around the washer but not the dryer.

QuestionDoes this dryer use steam in dewrinkle cycle? When I use that cycle it doesn’t have steam in dryer. Wondering if installers didn’t hook up water.

- Answer Hi there, We'll be happy to answer your question! Yes, the dryer does use steam in the Refresh and Dewrinkle cycles. QuestionWhat is the height of this dryer with the feet removed? The old washer & dryer are installed under a countertop & the feet were removed so it would fit under the counter. If possible, please answer this question for both the GFW550SSNWW & GFD55ESSNWW.

- Answer The 10AWG wires in a dedicated circuit with 240V-30A means 30A is the maximum the circuit will allow. Appliances can use less; such as this dryer needing up to a maximum of 24A.

- Answer It shouldn’t be loud. I got mine delivered 2 months ago and it made a loud sound and called customer care for a replacement and now it works great.No loud noise.

Most likely what you are experiencing is a build up of condensation from the heat inside the unit and the cold air outside. This dryer should be connected to an individual branch circuit with 10 gauge copper wire minimum through a 30 amp fuse or circuit breaker. Install the clothes dryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local codes. QuestionNever having stacked machines previously, I wonder how hard it is to clean the lint trap or to reach the controls which are at the top of the dryer and therefore pretty high up! Can someone who has GE stackable machines advise how that goes? Thanks
