QuestionDoes the gas dryer come with the converter kit from natural to LP gas?, I live in the country side and I have propane, and as far as I know gas dryer come with a natural gas kit from manufacture..

Questiondoes the dryer have a lint filter

- Answer Yes, this model has a removeable up-front lint filter that pulls up from the bottom of the door opening. For a helpful illustration, see page 11 of the Owner’s Manual which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website.

- Answer You will need to purchase separately kits for the installation. We had some of these from a previous washer/dryer, but Best Buy installers will not use old parts. They will only install new parts with a new purchase.

QuestionA part keeps falling out of the inside of the dryer. There are two metal pieces located inside the drum just below where you insert the lint basket. I cannot find the part in any of the diagrams, and I’m wondering what it does and if it needs to be there.

QuestionIf I buy the GFW650 washer, is there any difference if I buy the matching GFD65GSSNWW vs. the GFD85GSSNWW? Looks like one is an aluminum drum, but is that the only difference?

QuestionOn the gas dryer model is it possible to vent out the right side? I am getting conflicting info, such as the gas line inlet prohibits right venting. If so, the manual is very misleading. Would GE confirm if this is true?

QuestionOn the dryer water inlet valve for the steam cleaning feature there appears to be a plug in the valve. Does this need to be removed prior to hooking up the hose, or is it some type of flow restrictor? Nothing in the manual indicates removing it.
