“Does the heated dry option work as a stand alone function; or, do you have to run the dishes through a wash cycle for the heated dry to kick in? Sometimes I may just want to dry/warm already cleaned dishes. Thanks!”

Hi, thanks for reaching out to us! We appreciate you choosing a GE dishwasher for your home and are happy to answer this for you. When the Heated Dry and/or Dry Boost option is selected, the heater is turned on for fast drying and this will extend the time of your wash cycle. You cannot enable one of the drying features to run on their own without running one of the wash cycles first, as these act as extensions of the wash cycles.
