QuestionWe bought GE microwave PEM31DFWW with GE-JXA019K GE Undercabinet Mounting Kit. The kit has several templates. PEM31DFWW model not listed in the reference guide. We see PEM31DF/RF/SF pub #31-41082. Is this the right template or should we choose another?

The only difference between the 27" and 30" trim kit is the trim frame width. If the microwave is installed over a 27" or 30" wall oven, match the trim kit width to the wall oven. PEM31SFSS is compatible with GE® OPTIONAL 27" BUILT-IN TRIM KIT JX827SFSS and OPTIONAL 30" BUILT-IN TRIM KIT JX830SFSS. These trim kits are not compatible with your cabinet opening. Microwave trim kits are designed to provide a built-in look while also providing air flow necessary to the microwave. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as an upper, lower, and rear duct that attaches to and encases the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. - Answer Hi Mike- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for considering our GE Profile Series PEM31SFSS! The approximate dimensions are as follows: (HxWxD) 12 1/8 in x 24 in x 12 7/8 in. Microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. We recommend 3" of clearance on both sides and the top and 1" clearance in the rear. The front edge of the microwave (measured at door) should sit at least 3" or more back on the counter or shelf to avoid accidental tipping. Model JEM3072SHSS (GE® 0.7 CU. FT. CAPACITY COUNTERTOP MICROWAVE OVEN) is approximately 10 1/8"H x 17 1/4"W x 13"D and will allow more air clearance on top. Thanks for checking with us!
