“I need a microwave with zero clearance door. My cabinets will not allow the microwave I purchased to open the door. Does G.E. Make a zero clearance door.”

I had the same issue and apparently Frigidaire is the only manufacturer that makes zero clearance doors on microwaves.

Hi - Thanks for considering GE! Current models require at least 1/2" clearance on the hinge side for the door to open (Model PVM9005EJES requires 3/4" clearance). We do not offer a model with zero clearance door and apologize for any disappointment this brings. For a 12 inch depth cabinet, the microwave depth sticks out about 3 inches, allowing the door to open even with full overlay cabinets. The height of the microwave might be an issue.
