Q: QuestionThree questions: Does this model have door stops that prevent the doors from opening to over 180 degrees? Does the case depth in the specs include the gasket? If so, what is the actual case depth and what is the gasket depth?

• A:Answer Hello LoveToTravel - Thank you for your inquiry; we are glad to assist.1. Refrigerator door stops help prevent damage to adjacent walls, cabinets, and the refrigerator door. They allow the door to open wide enough for normal pan removal. They are included on all models and are located in the hinge system at the bottom of the door. Door stops are set to 150 degrees and cannot be adjusted. 2. The case depth does not include the door gasket. 3. We do not have the depth of the gasket as it is a part of the door. Q: QuestionWhen the freezer door is open, how far does the top freezer drawer pull out? Some I have seen only pull out a few inches, so it's hard to reach anything in the top freezer drawer.

• A:Answer The top drawer in adjustable. It's not ideal but the top portion makes up for any downside of the freezer. When I had a side by side, I hated both fridge and freezer. Now at least I love the fridge portion.

Q: QuestionI have a wall on one side. Does this fridge have zero clearance hinges? Also, will I be able to pull out the bottom drawer if one of the doors only open 90 degrees? I don't need it to pull out fully, just mostly!

Q: QuestionMy opening is 36.5" wide with a wall on the right that's 39" wide. Being that the handle is not an issue, will I be able to open the right side door 90 degrees? Judging from the picture in the dimensions and installation guide, it seems it should be ok.

Q: QuestionWhat is the width dimension across the front with the doors open at 90 degrees, excluding the handles? I am trying to determine whether the hinges expand out too wide for my 37.5" space between 2 pantry walls. The handles would not be an issue. Thanks.

Q: QuestionI have a wall on the right side of the unit with a 3 inch space between the side of the fridge and the wall. Seems that, with the handle, it will not open a full 90 degrees on the right. Will this severely impact the usefulness of the drawers, etc?

• A:Answer Hi poolman- The refrigerator power cord is approximately 61" long. Facing the front of the unit, the power cord is on right 8" up and 2" over to left. The water valve on most GE refrigerators is near the bottom of the back of the refrigerator. To determine how much tubing you need: measure the distance from the water valve on the back of the refrigerator to the water supply pipe. Then add 8 feet. Be sure there is sufficient extra tubing (about 8 feet coiled into 3 turns of about 10” diameter) to allow the refrigerator to move out from the wall after installation. There is no maximum length. The line can be run as long as necessary to reach a main water line.
