Easily is a relative question. Can it be removed, yes. But there is an electrical connection involved in addition to the mechanics, so its not like the freezer drawer which was easy (a few screws) to remove. We have a choke point going into the kitchen that if the granite counter top was a 1/4 inch less we would have had no problem. But alas, the handle of the middle drawer would hit one side of the counter top. We looked at removing the middle drawer but after removing the screws for the drawer, there was no apparent connector that we could see to easily disconnect the drawer from the frig. The last thing I wanted with the new frig is to have the electronics messed up for any reason, so I told the delivery guys to put it back together and remove the freezer drawer. Once done, I had them lift the frig high enough to use the open space created by the now removed freezer drawer to maneuver the choke point. Wife had to leave the room for this one. It interesting this frig is "smaller" than the Samsung it was replacing, but exterior wise it was a bit bigger, as we did not have any of these issues removing the old frig. So far we love this frig, however it took a good 24 - 36 hours before the frig/freezer worked like one. The good thing was that our previous frig was still operational so everything was cold and frozen to begin with, however the ice cream did get soft during this process and took a majority of the 36 hours+ to harden.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s actually really easy but hard to find the info on how to do it. On the right hand side of the drawer on the slide there is a about 5” long piece that snaps into the slide on the inside of the slide (it has an arrow on the piece that points towards the drawer.) pop that off with a flat head screwdriver and there is your connectors hiding in there. Undo them take the four bolts off than your good to go.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to take the front of the drawer off and support the end that doesn't have the wiring. If you look at it from the front down the channel the wiring goes into, you can see the connector. You have to remove the plastic cover that goes over it by pushing the top two keepers in and pulling/prying the other side of the cover. Pry toward the inside of the freezer.
