“What is the temperature of the inside of your fridge and what do you have it set to? We're on our second fridge and we get temps between 39-45 degrees. Fridge is set to 34. Measured with various glasses left on fridge 24 hours. Plenty of clearance.”

Seems to be holding true to temp do far....we have only had it for a month or so.

Please try again later.We had our third GE fridge arrive today but after taking it out of the box we noticed it was missing the black factory suction seals around the doors so the delivery people put it back in their truck and left. We haven't had any luck with this fridge and will try another manufacturer unfortunately.

We are sorry to hear you're having difficulty maintaining your desired temperature setting. The operating temperature for the Fresh Food section can be adjusted between 34-42 degrees F and -5-8 degrees F for the freezer. You could occasionally see temperatures that are slightly higher than your "set" temperature of 34 if the refrigerator has just completed a defrost cycle. However, the temperature should rebound and start cooling down internally right away. If you are reading temperature measurements of 39-45 degrees consistently using a thermometer that has been in a glass of water over a period of several hours or overnight, we would recommend having service check the refrigerator. One suggestion, if you have any tall containers sitting against the back wall of the fresh food section, try pulling those away from the wall to ensure you're getting a good flow of air. If that doesn't help, proceed with service. We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced as a result of this issue. To have had the same issue on two models is almost unheard of and not has not been a concern that has been brought to our attention.We truly wish you all the best. Vikki@GEA
