“how long does it last till it quits making ice?”

• Our family friend and I both bought ours in 2018. They bought theirs in November and we bought ours in December. Theirs quit working in August and ours quit in September. We cleaned it regularly. It was the first generation but still, one would think it should work longer than 3 years for the money.

• We almost hit the 2 year mark. It quit working. For the money I would think it would last longer. we are buying the warranty on the next one.

• It keeps making ice as long as you keep using the ice or it runs out of water in the reservoir. The side tank is a must if you want continuous ice. I fill my tank about 2 times a week so far… more in the winter.

• The 2 year mark for me, which seems to be common. I don't usually buy warranties but I would on this.
