QuestionDoes the fridge come with a filter bypass? If not, what's the part number? I have an RO system that goes from the sink underground to the fridge line that i'd rather use instead.

QuestionThere is a line curled up in the bottom left inside the new frig. Does this need to be hooked up to provide water to the dispenser? How do you do it?

QuestionI've using this fridge for a month, I have two problems with ice maker. While ice cubes are made, water leaks to the bin and all gets frozen and become a big chunk of ice block. The other one is the on/off switch doesn't work, I can't turn it off.

- Answer Hello- Thanks so much for reaching out we are happy to help! This model has an internal water dispenser that uses the RPWFE filter that reduces trace pharmaceuticals from water and ice. (Removes 98% of ibuprofen, atenolol, fluoxetine, progesterone and trimethoprim. These pharmaceuticals are not necessarily in all users’ water). Once it has been moved to the position you want, you can use the leveling legs at the front to adjust it to the height you prefer. - Answer Hi Rebe - Thanks for viewing GE! Current models do not have a "vacation mode". Our current refrigerators use an adaptive defrost which produces similar results. The refrigerator will only defrost as needed. It accounts for door openings and usage to determine when it is necessary to defrost and how long the defrost cycle needs to run. If the refrigerator is not being frequently used (ex. family on vacation), it will not defrost as often.
