QuestionThe home we just purchased had a GE Profile Advantium 120 installed, but there was no owners manual or how to operate the various options. I have figured how to make the microwave work, but not the other options.

QuestionI need to replace my GE Advantium 120 SCA1001FSS (from 2003). Will the GE Profile Advantium 120 PSA9120SFSS fit in the space? Old height is 16 3/32 & new height is 16 1/4. Or is there a better fitting microwave?

- Answer Not sure of model numbers, but I replaced my 2005 GE Advantium120 with the newest model and it fit.

QuestionOur SCA2001BSS03 died after 19 years (wow)! I want to move a new one to where this temp white one is. Can the over the range model sit on a shelf or inches above the counter?The depth is better than in wall unit for this space. Trying to minimize reno $

All our over-the-range microwaves are designed to fit into a 30" cabinet opening. This makes choosing a replacement a breeze. Please note however, that you will need to use the mounting kit that comes with the model. This is because the kit is made specifically for that model. One model we recommend that also has advantium is model PSA9120SFSS. We hope this model is to your satisfaction. Best wishes! Mike@GEA

QuestionI have a GE Profile Series Advantium 120 from ~ 2008. Model: SCA1001KSS-02. I would like to put this new unit in its place. Do we know if the Fan exhaust cutout matches the old unit? I want to do an in-place replacement. Will the bracket match?

- Answer Mine is plastic and condensation has formed underneath. Everything else is high quality on my Profile, wondering why they went the cheap route on the control panel. I love everything else about my stove.

However, when you open the door, the cycle should pause and not automatically start when the door is closed until you press Start again. - Answer No, An exhaust fan with 3different speeds is built in under the microwave, which vents out any steam.

- Answer Yes. This is my 2d oven mounted between cabinets with a glass backsplash installed after my first oven was in place. The installers said they would not install if it meant going through the backsplash. The new oven fit perfectly.
