Q: QuestionCan I bake in this oven?

• A:Answer Yes, it's a full on convection oven. Baked a number of dishes in it over the holiday's. PRO TIP: Clean out microwave splatters before baking, especially tomato or acidic food splatters. Using it as an oven will bake those splatters into the INCREDIBLY SHINY interior.

Q: QuestionOur 2015 GE Advantium runs on 240 volts. Can we order a new one or can we replace it with 120 volts. All dimensions are the same.

• A:Answer We previously offered a 27" and a 30" 240 Volt built-in Advantium. To check to see which you currently have, either locate the model/serial tag and review the specifications or measure the overall width of your existing model. We do not currently offer a 27", 240 volt built-in Advantium. You can choose to install the 120 volt unit instead but will need to provide a dedicated 120 volt power supply for the unit.

Q: QuestionThe specs say no power cord but the installation guide shows to plug into outlet. Does this require hardwiring or simply 120v plug in? Model PSB9100SFSS Thank you.

Q: QuestionI currently have an old GE Advantium SCB1001KSS01. It is 27" and we have a trim piece to fit a 30" cabinet. Does this model come with a trim piece for the cabinet? Thank you

Q: QuestionWe have a GE Advantium microwave 2005 model & selection knob doesn’t work. We have shut it off at the breaker to reset it. When you push it in it won’t take can we replace the know and mechanism? I see the new one still has the knob. Is it better?

• A:Answer Hi there, We're sorry to hear that your advantium knob isn't working anymore and understand what a pain that is. If you're asking can the knob be taken from the new model and placed into the older model, then that will not work as the parts are not the same. We would recommend simply replacing the advantium as our newer models have lots of incredible cooking features. These units also have over 175 preprogrammed menu selections. • A:Answer The same size 27” advantium fits in the opening. However beware before you buy. The new GE Profile Advantium 120 fogs up when you cook baked potatoes . I’ve had the oven replaced and the new one does the same thing. I filed a complaint with GE they came out and said it is normal. You can’t wipe the moisture off it is in between the panes of glass in the door . I suspected radiation leaking and they had no way to test they said. Next step is to file a complaint with the consumer protection dept. I previously had an advantium and loved it. It was purchased in 2008 and never did this. Beware before you spend your money. This is not normal.

• A:Answer Hey Mike! We'd be happy to help with your question! We're finding that your older model has the following cutout requirements: Width: 28 1/2", Height: 21", Depth: 19". The newer model that you're looking at has the following cutout dimensions: Width: 25 1/4", Height: 17 1/2", Depth: 23 1/2". Given that the cutout dimensions for these two models differ quite a bit, we'd recommend contacting a cabinet professional for help with adjusting your cutout space to accommodate the new model.
