App does not control this switch. You need a hub to control these switched. Plus this switch is only a addon switch. You'll use Zwave switch as primary smart switch and a Hug to control that switch. Then hub would them be controller by corresponding app. Samsung SmartThings is a hub that supports Zwave switches plus some other common protocols. SmartThings has app that could be downloaded for App stores. Plus, it also lets to connect with Amazon Alexa for voice control.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The "add on switch" is for use with a main or dimmer switch for a 3 way set up. You need to connect to the ge zwave dimmer / switch to a hub such as the Samsung SmartThings. You then can control the switch through the hub. The SmartThings hub also controls over 100 other items.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The aux/add-on switch model 12723 is not controlled by an app and will not work stand alone. You need model 12722 to act as the master. 12722 will connect to any hub or controller that accepts z-wave.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is Z wave, so whatever is controlling your z wave network. I personally use the Samsung SmartThings hub and its corresponding app. I have then added the SmartThings skill to Amazon Echo/Alexa which lets me control my z wave devices via voice commands. Good luck!
