Q: QuestionI need a replacement for a PEM31DM3WW. It is 23.75 inches wide and is in a cabinet space that is 24 inches wide. Most GE Profiles I see now are 24 inches wide.

Q: QuestionI just replaced my GE model JEM31SFO1 microwave in cabinet with the GE Model PEM31SFSS and need to purchase the proper in cabinet mounting hardware as well as the proper front trim package as the existing ones do not match up. can you advise.

Q: QuestionI am replacing a GE Profile Microwave JEM31WF001 with a new GE Profile Microwave PEM31DFWW. Can I reuse the hanging hardware I used on the old microwave? Specifically will the screws fit into the new Microwave?

While you may be able to use the same hanging kit, the positioning of the brackets in your cabinet may have to be adjusted for the new model due to engineering changes made over the years. • A:Answer The kit is designed for many models, complete with a half dozen templates. I was able to reuse my original screws, however, the hole pattern changed, and I had to re-drill several holes in my cabinet.

The microwave you mentioned (JES1072SHSS) is a counter-top only model and cannot be mounted under a cabinet. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. If you're in search of a microwave with mounting capabilities, model JEM3072SHSS is similar to the one you mentioned and can be mounted under a cabinet using the optional undercabinet hanging kit JXA019K. Q: QuestionThe mounting bracket is a bit too long on one end (it sticks out beyond the cabinetry end, so we're not able to mount it) - is there a recommended bracket that we can use that is slightly shorter on one end (the side with two holes)?
