What games are preinstalled? null

There are no games preinstalled. This is a headset ony. You plug your phone into the headset and it installs software from oculus. There are free apps and games in the oculus store.

I don't recall any games being preinstalled and to date I haven't played any games on the unit. There are games and 'experiences' available for download from the oculus store available that is in the built in software. If you get the Gear VR with some offers, like the recent Samsung G7 upgrade, then it may come with some software. That will depend on how you get your VR.

You have to install games by installing Oculus. Lots of free games available.

There's a bundle that comes free once you install, it comes with 4 games but only two are playable with headset alone, one requires the help of someone else and a computer to help on mission, the last one requires the gamepad that is sold separately. Funny thing with Samsung gamepad it is used on every game but only sold in UK, in USA Oculus recommends Steelseries which is made by Microsoft and is exactly a XBOX controller

Short answer: None. Slightly longer: Any apps are loaded on your phone. There are a few free games in the store. If you get the Samsung GS7, I believe the offer comes with a voucher for some free games. There is a time limit for downloading them, and I would bet that you will need that feature of using external micro sd, because the apps are pretty big.
