• The purifier is stationary, it does not move at all. However, after having mine for over a month now I will say that on the lowest setting it is fairly quiet and is move than sufficient for my 11' x 14.5' room. It filters out cat hair/dander, dust, mold, smoke, and anything else that may be in the air (I live in a 60 year old apartment building) with ease.
