will this work on ddr5 motherboards? null

I purchased the asus rog strix z690 e gaming wifi motherboard which uses ddr5 4200 to 6000 and it works just fine.

It's PCIE 4.0, so that has nothing to do with the system RAM but my guess is if the board has ddr5 it also has PCIE 4.0. My older comp uses ddr4 and has PCIE 4.0.
