Q: QuestionIs there an app or system-in-effect where I can place a reservation or a pre-order for a high-end GPU so that I can avoid having to compete with/purchase from scalpers?

• A:Answer No I've asked Best Buy mangement why they don't have any systems in place to combat this or do verified preorders, or at the very least give times or dates of restock to verified customers but they have excuses for everything. The bottom line is that they don't care. They make the money either way and like most companies their size, customer service is a thing of the past.

• A:Answer I tried asking that same question through the live chat yesterday. I like driving long distances and having road trips, so it seemed like a fun possibility. Load up the car, have a nice trip, stop and grab some beef jerky, etc. They still wouldn't tell me and copy-pasted some company statement about "we are trying to get more to your area" which wasn't what I was asking. It's honestly pointless using the live chat feature because they just read what's on the website and have no idea beyond that. The Best Buy we loved pre-pandemic is gone.

• A:Answer The LHR throttling mechanism has been 90% defeated with most current mining apps... NBminer, TRex..... Meaning if the non-LHR version mines at lets say 100mhs... an LHR card (excluding 3060s, avoid 3060s) will mine at close to 90mhs.
