Too late for help on your answer, but yes it would have worked. This would have been done by hitting the cast button in the app, then selecting the show you want to watch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and yes. Most android TV apps have chromecast support now, just check the description. If your app doesn't have chromecast support you can always "cast screen" from the chromecast app. With chromecast you can put anything from your tablet or smartphone on you TV (as long as it has an hdmi input.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think u might be able to
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There's up to two ways you can cast. A. The app itself has the functionality enabled. Make sure your device is on the same wifi network as your chromecast, tap the cast to button, select your chromecast and boom. Fat city. B. In the chromecast/googlecast app you have the option to cast your screen which will display whatever appears on your screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would need a smart tv cause you need to input your chromecast into the HDMI input. You need to download the chromecast app from your smart phone and it has to be an android phone. Using the chromecast is to mirror your movies or pictures from your smart phone to watch directly to your TV. Internet must be used during the casting. I hope this helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Whole screen. Quality will be limited but will work great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you would be able to. There's a few different ways you could do it. One would be through the Chromecast app or once the Chromecast is set up you could just mirror your screen to it through the cast option in the display settings menu.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the adapter will in essence make the TV similar to a smart TV.

It's awesome. You wont know how you lived without it(bonus, roku has a boat load of FREE stuff, channel apps you could watch tv 24/7 and see stuff you never knew existed). You can load the Sling app from the Roku streaming channels list and skip the whole tablet to TV thing altogether which is much more hassle than sitting on your couch with a beer, turning your TV on, grabbing your Roku remote, which is the simplest, easiest tech device on the planet to use (my 92 year old mom never calls me for tech support on her roku, she gets it) and click on sling TV and, bam, there it is. Your tablet safely tucked away without any wear and tear, you in your favorite seat, beer in one hand, some baby back ribs in the other (don't get the remote all gooey with BBQ sauce) and Soccer. LIFE IS GOOD!
