This isn't that kind of device, look into the other options. This uses your phone or tablet or ? as the smart device and really just created a wireless connection to the TV. If you use a TV app on your device, sure you can cast that but it seems like another solution would suit you better.

Hulu TV, YouTube TV, There is also a free legal service called Locast, Locast.org, that broadcasts local stations in several cities. I would use an HD antenna but am too far from a close city to pick up stations. I personally use YouTube TV and love it. Get all different stations on one of my two chromecast devices, phone, other devices when I'm elsewhere that has the device, etc. 1st gen stick is slow, but from the 2nd gen on they're fast.
