- Answer Hey John, You can absolutely get high speed data in Europe with Google Fi. The full list of countries we support is here https://fi.google.com/about/international-rates. When you are traveling outside of the US, Canada, and Mexico, texting is free and calls will cost 20 cents per minute. Thanks very much for reaching out! -Sean

- Answer Hey there, it works in Europe, Switzerland and Germany, and many others, which you can view here: https://fi.google.com/about/international-rates Make sure to choose the Flexible or Unlimited Plus plans as well for international travel. All plans include data, calls, and texts within the US, Canada and Mexico. While Flexible and Unlimited Plus also come with international data in 200+ destinations, and for supported Pixel phones, 5G coverage is available in select countries and territories.

QuestionI am planning on using this in a GPS watch for my kids while camping. I'm not a tech person. Do I need to first put it in my phone to activate? If yes, if I give it a new number will it screw my phone up? Thank you!

Devices must be unlocked and work with T-Mobile (GSM radio). You can order a data-only SIM and test it out. However, we may not be able to help activate or troubleshoot these other devices.
