• I just found mine in the front corner of the lot after the hurricane hit. It was buried in saltwater. I plugged it in and it powered right up. It's a little scuffed and the mesh on the top is gone.

• Yes. As long as there's Wi-Fi and a power outlet you can plug the Nest Mini into, it should work. However, keep in mind that it is not waterproof and it's best to place it in rooms or inside the house where it won't be exposed to excessive moisture.
