The included charging cable (indoor rated) measures 3.3 ft (1 m). Nest Cam weatherproof cables (sold separately) are available in 5m and 10m. Please note that the power adapter included with the Nest Cam (battery) is not weatherproof and not intended for outdoor use and you can use a compatible weatherproof cable (sold separately). Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have 2 of the cameras (bsttery) mounted near outdoor light fixtures - in case we needed to hard wired them. So far no issues. The 3rd camera (also battery) is mounted directly to outside wall. We have whole house Wifi and husband mounted closest to the best signal strength. Again so far no issues.
