my camera out side and 35/ 40 feet away from the router ..works great

Please try again later.That all depends on location of your modem, how many walls the signal must pass through and the strength of your wifi to begin with , so id say everyones distance depends on these and maybe something i missed . So maybe this little test might help alittle . Use your phone ,turn off data , using your home Wi-Fi only walk to the area where you are questioning to see if you loose your wifi and how strong of a signal your are receiving. Hope this helps
