Not it does not. While it is branded as a Nest Cam, it only connects through the Google Home App.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, for some reason this camera does NOT work with either the Nest app or home.nest.com. You can NOT see the output of the camera on your computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it does NOT! And I hate that. You can only see this camera on their "Home" app, This means you can't see the camera on a PC, only on a phone, or tablet, or Google Home device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, since Google is responding to this thread. It would be nice if, for once, you have a plan for releasing products when they have (at least) basic functionality. The fact that you have an upgraded piece of hardware that wont work in the Nest app (which worked great) but then force you to use a clunky Google Home app which, what do you know, cant work properly with the OLD Nest cameras. I know, I know, you are gonna have that "upgrade" to basic functionality (like viewing on the web!) in 2022. Very disappointing. Oh, and I should have bought at Best Buy, since Google Store only gives you 2 weeks to request a refund. Awesome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. New Nest cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience. Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, as well as Google Assistant. Our team is working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app so all of your cameras can be set up and controlled in one place. As for home.nest.com, we’re aware that longtime Nest users enjoy having the option to view their Nest camera feeds from the web, and we are working on adding this experience.
