Yes, but in settings make sure you have "away" on and location set to "on" in your cell phone settings. It automatically determines if you are away from home or not. The camera will automatically shut off once you are back in your home.

It works better on wi-fi but that isn't always possible so I like knowing I can access the live-feed whenever I need to.
