• I'm able to view the video on my indoor camera and my doorbell camera on my MacBook laptop, so I would say, yes, you can view it on your desktop. There is no app for the computer, as far as I know. You just log into your account via the internet.

• I use a Mac and I was able to watch on its 27” screen as well as my iPhone. The picture was just as sharp and clear as on my iPhone. You can also speak through it and people in the room can hear you. I think it would work on a windows based system as well, I just did not do that personally.

• You can absolutely view the Nest Cams through a Web browser or the Nest app. The recommended browser is Google Chrome, but it can be viewed through most browsers.
